Dr. Ye He Ye He, PhD
Lead Principal Investigator 


Dr. He oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of the project in close collaboration with Co-PIs and evaluation team, leading team meetings and coordinating efforts of university and district partners. She leads the planning and delivery of the professional development and oversees Teacher Education (TE) course and program development and approval processes. Click here to learn more about Dr. He.

Melody Zoch, PhD Melody Zoch, PhD
Co-PI


Dr. Zoch co-leads the development and implementation of the ESL/DL SAC program for Elementary Education majors. She leads the ESL/dual language (DL) second academic concentration (SAC) program development, advises preservice teachers in the ESL/DL SAC program, and supports preservice teachers’ engagement in parent, family and community engagement activities. Click here to learn more about Dr. Zoch.

Scott Howerton, PhD Scott Howerton, PhD
Co-PI


Dr. Howerton co-leads the development and implementation of the ESL/DL SAC program for Elementary Education majors. Jamie Schissel, PhD Jamie Schissel, PhD
Co-PI


Dr. Schissel leads the development and implementation of ESL/DL add-on licensure program. She works with school district coordinators to identify and advise inservice teachers for the ESL/DL add-on licensure program, consults with district coordinators to provide inservice teachers with ESL and DL classroom teaching and learning opportunities, and supports inservice teachers’ engagement in parent, family and community engagement activities . Click here to learn more about Dr. Schissel.

Project Evaluator


Tiffany leads the evaluation activities for the project. She leads the design and administration of evaluation instruments, oversees the establishment and maintenance of the project database, and prepares evaluation reports and presentations to stakeholders. 

Bryan Hutchins, PhD  

Bryan Hutchins, PhD
Project Evaluator


Dr. Hutchins, external evaluator with SERVE Center, focuses on the evaluation of the impact analysis of student outcomes. Dr. Hutchins works closely with Tiffany and Dr. He to manage the design, sampling, data collection, data analysis, and reporting on project impact.

Carine  

Carine Kelleher
Project Manager


Carine handles the day to day activities of managing the grant, monitoring all expenditures, participant progress, and keeping key stakeholders informed. In addition to supporting Dr. He, lead PI, she is the first point of contact about program inquires and helps support students with any administrative questions they may have.

Graduate Assistant for Evaluation


Grettel assists Tiffany to carry out all evaluation activities in terms of data collection, data analysis, and reporting.

Dawn assists Dr. He in the management of the professional development modules and oversees participants’ interactions with the online modules.

Malitsitso assists Tiffany to carry out all evaluation activities in terms of data collection, data analysis, and reporting.

Graduate Assistant for Family Engagement


Jennifer assists with EnACTeD family engagement efforts through partner schools and districts. 

 

Beatrix Hutton
Graduate Assistant for Social Media and Web Management

Beatrix supports the EnACTeD team by managing and creating content for our social media platforms, the website, and other communication methods.
